People who have never been to New Jersey frequently have a distorted view of our state. Some think that what they see on tv, in shows such as “The Jersey Shore” or “Housewives of New Jersey”, is an accurate picture. And some think the whole state is like the cities of Newark or Camden.
To counter those views, I thought I’d share with you a walk I took around my neighborhood yesterday. Marlton, also known as Evesham Township, lies in South Jersey, within the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve, a protected natural area of unique ecology covering 1,100,000 acres. It was classified as a United States Biosphere Reserve and established by Congress in 1978 as the nation’s first National Reserve.
Our area of New Jersey is beautiful. There’s a good reason we are “The Garden State”. I hope you enjoy my 4 mile hike as much as I did, and get a better picture of where Athletic Fitness Concepts is based. (Note: the critter pictures were taken on other walks, but still in the same neighborhood. Just thought you would like to see them.) 🙂
I hope you enjoyed my hike. Come visit New Jersey and enjoy our beautiful natural surroundings. And if you need a trainer when you get here, we’re just a phone call away. 😉
